Photographing products properly takes experience and an understanding of marketing. Product shots need to show the product clearly and unambiguously either on a contrasting background, or in situ.

My several years of experience as a catalog photographer for Wind and Weather, a mail order catalog of weather instruments and garden ornaments helped me hone my eye for this kind of work. Being able to tether my camera to my laptop also helps me and my clients get the images we want quickly and easily.
